Statutory declaration change of sex - Parent/guardian of a child born in Victoria

A parent or guardian applying to change a child's record of sex must attach a statutory declaration. The declaration includes that:

  • The child consents to the change, and
  • The parent or guardian believes the change is in the child’s best interests.
